This little joy is Olivia, and she’s a year old! I met Olivia’s sweet family for her newborn session, and she was so adorable that I wanted to keep her. I was so excited for her cake smash, and I love the bright, happy lemon theme her parents chose!
When planning a cake smash, I always try to get it scheduled before we have a walking baby. If you’ve ever had a little one, you know that once they start walking, they hate to stay still! Photos become a whole lot harder, and babies get a whole lot angrier at me when I try to get them to cooperate! But some babies just can’t wait to get up and moving – and Olivia was one of them. This little firecracker was walking at nine months, and was completely on the move by the time she came to see me!
Even though Olivia wanted nothing to do with sitting for her photos – even when we gave her cake – she did a great job. She gave us the cutest smiles, and was perfectly content to smash her cake while standing up! Silly girl…
Happy first birthday, Olivia! You’ve grown so much this year, and I can’t wait to see you again!
