Allison is One - Donut Cake Smash Cleveland

This happy little soon-to-be one year old is Allison, and she was all smiles for her donut-themed cake smash!

Allison’s family has been working with me since their first sweet girl was born, and I loved getting to watch her grow. When baby girl #2 came along, I was so excited to do it all again! Both Allison and her big sis were on my Baby’s First Year plan, which means I got to see them for newborn, sitter, and cake smash sessions. Unfortunately, COVID came along right around the time Allison did, and we had to cancel her newborn session. We made up for it six months later with an adorable family session, and stayed right on track for the rest of Allison’s plan!

Allison is such a spunky, sweet girl, so it was super fitting that mama chose this bright, fun donut theme for her birthday! Before we let Allison at her cake, we grabbed a few one-year portraits. This girl’s huge grin and scrunchy nose needed to be captured for the future! And how gorgeous does she look in blue? A quick set of portraits later, and it was time for cake! I absolutely love the pink, sprinkled drip cake I had made to match this session, and clearly Allison loved it, too! She tasted a few little bits, but mainly thought that smashing was so much fun! I agree, kiddo… smashing is the best!

Happy first birthday, Allison. I’m so glad I’ve gotten to know your family, and I can’t wait to see you again as you grow!
