Baby Max's Fresh 48 - Cleveland Fresh 48 Photographer

Fresh 48 sessions are so special. I get to meet babies while they are brand new, still in the hospital with mom. I capture little fingers and toes, tiny wristbands and the classic hospital swaddle. But I often also get to capture something else – the first time two people become “mom and dad” instead of simply “husband and wife”. New moms and dads are so awesome. They are tired, a little scared, excited, and so happy, all at once. They are quickly learning the ropes with their new little one, and I get to see it all!

Baby Max’s arrival was a little bit of a surprise to mom and dad, as he came via unplanned c-section. But by the time I got to him a few days later, he was just perfect, and mom was doing great. Max got his first dose of daily life as dad dressed him up in a Batman onesie, then undressed him minutes later for a more plain option. He was not happy! But some cuddles did the trick, and sweet Max fell asleep swaddled tightly after some time in mom’s arms. Welcome to the world, Max. Your parents are so in love with you!
