Savannah's Circus - Avon Ohio Cake Smash Pictures

Welcome to Savannah’s Big Top!

I get some pretty adorable cake smash theme requests, but this one just might take the cake (see what I did there…)! Savannah’s mama called me to book this session, and when she told me her idea, I may have squealed a little. I absolutely LOVE getting to setup themes I’ve never done before, and this was a complete first for me – I’ve never even seen another photographer do it, which is so rare. I couldn’t wait, and I may have spent weeks shopping to find the perfect items…

Before cake, we always start first birthday sessions with portraits. Cake smashing is adorable, but most parents want at least one good photo of their baby not covered in icing. Savannah was totally on board with the plan, and grinned through her entire portrait session. Look at those little fangs! A job well done deserves cake, so we quickly moved on and gave this little one (and the adults watching) a treat!

Savannah clearly loved her cake as much as she loved her portraits, and I am so glad. Her pretty circus set would have been just as cute if she had cried into her cake, but the grins and face-first dives into the icing were so much better! This girl clearly understood the assignment, and made my day!

Thanks for putting on a great show, Ringmaster Savannah! I loved hanging out with you, and I’m so glad we got such great images for your parents!
