This adorable little girl is Remi – isn’t that the cutest name? Tiny Remi was an absolute angel for me, and her session went about as smoothly as can be… until the power went out at the studio!
During a studio newborn session, I have all sorts of things going: two sound machines, an extra space heater, calming music, etc. All of these help me keep baby sleepy and comfortable. But the most important “plugged in” part of the studio (aside from the coffee maker) is my lighting! Losing power means losing light, which is a big problem. But the show must go on! So I opened the curtains to let in light, and prayed that Remi stayed sleepy without all of my tricks. I shouldn’t have worried – she was a sleeper!
Both before and after losing power, Remi slept really well. She let me move her and pose her, and didn’t make a sound. She looked gorgeous on cream, and her pretty, dark hair stood out so well. I love the gallery we ended up with – and the natural light images turned out great! Thanks for visiting me, Remi, and for being such a great sport. I hope I get to see you again soon!
