Say what you will about Cleveland, but we get some gorgeous sunsets. And nothing makes me happier than taking advantage of one of those sunsets for a maternity session! Kelly knew from the start that she wanted to have her maternity session at the beach. We’re fortunate to have Lake Erie just a few minutes from us, so after her short studio session, we packed up and met hubby at Huntington Beach!
When you schedule a maternity session with me, you have the option of borrowing a gown (or two!) from my beautiful studio wardrobe. Maternity gowns can be expensive, and it’s hard to justify buying one to wear just for photos! So I offer my clients plenty of options, and am constantly adding more. Kelly actually came loaded up with outfit options, and wasn’t sure she wanted to wear a gown. She thought it might clash with her simple style, but agreed to look through my collection. I’m so glad she did, because we both fell in love with this navy blue Krysten gown on her! It’s simple and flattering, and looked absolutely amazing on her.
Gown chosen, we took advantage of every minute of sunset that evening. While the beach wasn’t completely empty – even in winter! – we found some great spots and came up with a gorgeous gallery. Even Kelly’s two little dogs got to be included! Thank you for trusting me with your memories, Kelly. I loved being a part of this, and I can’t wait to meet your little guy!
