Cake smashes are always the highlight of my week – one year olds are so much fun, and I love designing unique sets to match their sweet personalities. I especially love when parents come up with themes I’ve never done before, like Violet’s southern belle setup!
When Violet’s mama told me her theme idea, I’ll admit I was a little stumped! Her portrait background was easy – her name is Violet, after all! But a southern belle/fruit theme for the cake smash part? That was a little tougher. I started shopping, though, and things just came together – look how bright and fun this turned out! I was happy to add in the fresh fruit mom brought, and I think that was Violet’s favorite part. She loved those strawberries!
