Sometimes things just all fall into place for a family session. When this family asked me to come all the way across town, to a location I’d never used, I said “sure!” I had actually been wanting to explore this spot for quite some time, and I was excited to check it out. But a new spot always comes with a bit of risk: What if the light isn’t right? What if it’s crowded? What if, what if, what if… I’m so glad I ignored the “what ifs”. When I got there, I was completely in love!
You can see below how amazing this location looks on camera. What you can’t see is the huge expanse of land we had available to us. It felt like we were the only people there! And I’m pretty glad we had our space – miss Piper was one speedy little two year old! Like most two year olds, Piper loved to run, play, and laugh. She did not love to sit still and look at the camera. That’s totally fine by me, though – I love fun images of little ones being little! And I know Piper’s mom and dad love all of the images of their sweet little girl smiling and having a blast. Family photos shouldn’t feel like a chore!
Thanks so much for showing me this spots, guys! I loved exploring it with you, and I loved getting to know you. Hopefully I’ll see you again next season!
