Xavier's Fresh 48 - Cleveland Baby Photographer

Xavier’s parents wanted to do something special for baby boy number two, so we decided to meet for a Fresh 48 session while Xavier was still brand new. His big brother Chris is no stranger to my camera, but we wanted to do something for the new little man that we hadn’t really gotten to do with Chris. So I (not so) patiently waited for the text on the day I knew Xavier was arriving, then headed to MetroHealth to meet this new little bundle!

Fresh 48 sessions are quickly becoming a favorite of mine. I love the calm of still being safely in the hospital, before the chaos of taking baby home. I love the soft new baby skin and wrinkly fingers. I love how each baby can look so different when wrapped in the same standard hospital swaddle. I love the reactions on parents’ faces when it finally sinks in that they get to take this baby home. In Xavier’s case, mom and dad are pros, but it was still touching to see them cuddle their newest little man with the same love that they gave to their first. And it was so much fun for me to see that, while Chris is dad’s little mini, Xavier is mama through and through! Congratulations on your sweet new guy. I can’t wait to watch your family grow!
